Lots of things....
So I jotted down a list of topics that I wanted to talk about in this post tonight. I know I am a huge geek, but I am a prepared geek. The only issue is I am really tired and don’t feel like going into all of them in detail. Looking at my list I see one that should be its own post because it is goofy enough on its own. I will touch on a few of the topics and save some for another time and another dimension.
If you haven’t played the game in the last post I would suggest you do so before reading further.
I hope all like the game and I hope you all figured out what the answer was. If not I have officially lost a total of eleven point nine pounds so far. That amazingly brings me to twenty five percent of my goal. I know some people have made mention that they notice, but I really don’t. It may be that I see myself every day in the mirror and don’t notice the gradual change that is taking place. I just see the numbers and it is hard for me to believe. I do know I feel so much better than I have in a long time. Even if I don’t lose that much weight it is worth it just how much better I feel. I hope all of you stick with me to see just how far this rabbit hole goes.
In case anyone was wondering the 12 IN 24 challenge is cancelled. There is no way I would be able to achieve the goal and it would probably not be that healthy for me to actually reach it. Now I am just filling time until I can give another 30 day active challenge the full time it needs. This will actually happen in a few weeks from now. I am actually looking forward to starting the new challenge. While I enjoy my custom workout there is something to be said for the structure of the challenge. It also forces me to do some of the workouts that I am not really a fan of, but are probably pretty good for me. I tend to look past the jumping ones to the stay solid on the ground.
So describe Active I hate to start the workouts, I like working out once I start, and I love the feeling after I get done. It is a huge love hate relationship I am having with it. Take tonight for example. I almost didn’t work out. I just wasn’t feeling it and then I made myself. During the workout I was feeling good and now I feel wonderful. I am of course rather tired. I find you need to take the Peter Pan approach to working out. You need to have a “happy thought” or something that motivates you. If you have that thought in your head nothing can stop you. The nice thing is you don’t need creepy fairies or dust to succeed. I know it is a strange way to think about it, but it works.
Those are all my topics for tonight. I really only have one more topic, but that is the one I think deserves its own post. I also have a few things I can add to that post to make it more complete. I apologize for the length of this post. I know I said I would only touch on the topics, but once I start going there is no stopping. I would make a movie reference to what I just wrote, but I am afraid I will be showing my geek side. If you can guess what it is you get an extra bonus point that can be used in the lightning round.
Have a happy and healthy one.
